Foodstr Inc. Delaware (“we”) operates Foodstr Service and app (“Service”).
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, safeguard and disclose information that results from your use of our Service.

Required data. While creating an account, you need to provide us with your email address, as it will help us to identify you on our Service.

Optional data. You may voluntarily provide us with information about your name, gender and date of birth. These data will help us personalize the content for you.

Third party accounts data. If you log into the Service with an existing Facebook account, Google account or Apple ID, the following data will be shared with us: name, profile picture, ID, place of residence (if indicated). If you connect your account to other third-party accounts, such as Google, we may collect a pseudonymized unique identifier per connected third-party provider.

Usage Data. We may collect information that your browser sends when you visit our Service or when you access the Service through a mobile app. This information helps us to make our Services more customizing and user-friendly.

Usage data may include: computer's Internet protocol address, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, etc.

We use Google Analytics to monitor and analyse the use of our Service and various remarketing services such as Google Ads to optimize and serve advertisements based on your past visits to our Service.

App analytics and advertising measurement. When you first open our mobile app, it asks for your choice on the Privacy choices screen. Nothing described in this section is collected until you have chosen, and only for what you allow. You can change your choice at any time under Privacy choices, in your account or on the sign-in screen.

App analytics (Google Firebase Analytics) shows us how the app is used, such as which screens are opened, so we can improve it. Advertising measurement (the Meta (Facebook) App Events SDK and the TikTok App Events SDK) shows us how well our advertising on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok works. These tools send the providers information about how the app is used, such as installing and opening the app, scanning, searching for or viewing a product, adding a product to favourites, rating a product, signing up, signing in, and starting or buying a subscription. They also send technical information about your device, such as device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address and the Google Play install referrer.

We do not share your name or email address with these providers. On Android we never share your advertising identifier (GAID). On iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared only if you also allow it in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, which the app shows only after you have accepted advertising measurement. This data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd., Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and TikTok Technology Limited under their own privacy policies.

Cookie Data. We use cookie and similar tracking technologies (beacons, tags and scripts) to track the activity on our Service.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. You can customize cookie tracking in your browsers.

However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. Examples of Cookies we use:

We may retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Information retained for extended time periods for limited purposes. Sometimes business and legal requirements oblige us to retain certain information, for specific purposes, for an extended period of time.

Reasons we might retain some data for longer periods of time include: security, fraud & abuse prevention; financial record-keeping; complying with legal or regulatory requirements; ensuring the continuity of our services; direct communications.

Disclosure for Law Enforcement. Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Business Transaction. If we or our subsidiaries are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred.

Service providers access. We may disclose your data to third parties that we employ to facilitate our Service, provide services on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Service is used. Service providers are obligated not to disclose or use personal data for any other purpose.

  • to protect the rights of the Company, our customers, or others;
  • in any other cases with your consent.

We may disclose your data to third parties that support our business.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will let you know about updates via email or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the changes become effective.
